Hello,
Has anyone moved a UNIX 6.x Networker Server to another server with a different hostname? Legato Technical bulletin 121 addresses the issue for versions 4.2 - 5.5.3 but I've seen nothing for 6.x.
Recovering the media database and /nsr/res/* files is no problem with mmrecov, but how do you get the file indexes? nsrck -L7 complains that it can't find the file indexes because the server name has changed. I've got a test box to play with so would welcome any ideas to give a try!
Thanks,
Kent

It's described in the 6.1 Admin Guide, but I don't think it's in the 6.0 even though the procedure is the same. So if you have 6.0, get the Admin Guide from 6.1 from the Legato web site and follow the instructions.

I've already done it with 6.1 and it's a lot eaiser than 5.x. In fact you don't need to do an nsrck -L7 which is a bonus because on my site that alone takes 9 hours.

Good luck!
