Moving A Mail Store Database

We recently upgraded our SAN to a little over 2 terabytes space and I am wanting to combine the mailstores from 5 seperate drives down to 2. Is it any more difficult than right clicking and going to properties and changing the "Exchange Database" and "Exchange Streaming Databases" to the new location? Will it move the current database automatically or do I need to move it manually and then just point the database to its new location?

It is no more difficult than that.

Your DB will dismount as it moves so there will be a small dispruption.

You'll probably want to do it right after a full backup, just to extra safe as you are moving a large amount of data and you just never know.

Yep - it doesn't take very long. Just long enough to dismount, move, mount.
