I have been exporting movies back and forth between Premiere and After Effects, now that the project is almost completed I made a test DVD and noticed the audio sounded horrible(like downloaded music)I re -cut all the audio exported a premiere movie and now noticed the video looks horrible, however it looks good in the project. so it is obviously an export setting? Was my original problem compression? is there generation loss in digital? Do fields have to do with my video problem or is it compression, because as far as I can tell I do not have any compression.

You should export your audio uncompressed. Check your settings in Premiere under the Audio settings in the Export settings.. You should have Uncompressed.
