Moveing an image from OLE to disk and generate filename and path

I am using a Symbol scanner to collect delivery information including a signature - all works great - on the sync the tables are updated. But for various reasons (DB size and ability to display signature via an ASP page)I want to store the signature in a seperate directory and create a link to it. Based on the fact that there are around 1000 signatures a day I need this to be automatic, so after the Sync the table is updated and then something runs to strip out the OLE file and updates another filed with a uniquely generate filename.

Way beyond me! Any Help???
