Ok I've been moving over mailboxes so far so good *knockin on wood*. The W2K pro clients change the Outlook profile automatically, which is great cause I don't have to visit each desk! Anyways I have about fifteen 98 clients in a couple of branch offices. Will the 98 clients change over to the new server like the W2K pro clients did? ALL users are running Office2000 Pro. Thanks.

In my experience, they should as long as the old Exchange server remains online until all users have logged in at least once. The first part of the Outlook logon is to check which information store contains the mailbox. If Outlook finds that the mailbox has moved, it connects the client directly to that server.

Test on the user who will complain the most first, and be onsite to make sure the change happens properly.
