We have an Option 11 PBX with a remote expansion cabinet running on multimode fiber. We recently installed new fiber and would like to move the expansion cabinet to the new strands. Are there any recommended procedures to follow before disconnecting the existing and reconnecting to the new?

i would do a disl x to disable the loop, make the swap then do a ennl x to bring it back up... both being ld 32 commands. other then taking it down and back up the loop will never know the diff.. you may want to do a ld 97 prt xpe, to make sure the xpe cpmes back up, enxp x in 32 will bring that back up, it shouldn't be necessary
