Hi

One of our staff has just had to move to a different PC.

One of the programs used is Sage JobCosting. On their previous machine, using the mouse wheel to scroll through a list would select each item in turn - one wheel movement moved the selection from the first item to the second item in the list.

On their present machine, when the mouse wheel is used, the entire list scrolls down the screen but the selection stays on the first item.

Does anyone know if there is a registry hack or other setting I can configure which will allow this behaviour to be changed so that scrolling moves the selection rather than scrolling the entire list please?

Thanks

Mark

Have you tried swapping the mouses over, may just be a driver thing if the are different types . . There are also options for the wheel in control panel, what options would depend on the mouse, driver etc.

If they both have the same mouse does on have the manufacturer driver an the other an Microsoft driver possibly?

Thanks a lot for your response.

The mouse is a Dell mouse which had associated mouse suite software installed. Disabling the suite sorted it out.

I think it must be a function of the software and that the mouse suite was over-riding the wheel behaviour.

Anyone know how to toggle this behaviour?

Thanks

Mark
