Hi, I was wondering if there is anyone who knows how to disable the scroll on the mouse. I have created a form that is ready to use for entering data. The only problem is that every time you use the scroll bar on the mouse, it will scroll all the records. for e.g. scroll from record # 2 to record # 98 within seconds! The ideal way to navigate on the form is to use the 'tab' button, however, there is so much room for error by scrolling through all the records instead of scrolling up and down the form page. There is already a scroll bar ON the form, however, instant reaction is to try to use the scroll on the mouse. The only two solutions I know is 1) disable the scroll feature on the mouse, or 2) enable scroll on the mouse to scroll up and down the form.

Are any of these possible?
Thanks
Linda

Do a KeyWord Search of the forums, there have been several posts on this subject in the last couple of weeks

The scroll feature on the mice works simply by focus. If the current window can be scrolled, then the wheel will work.

If the form itself has a scroll bar, then you'd expect the mouse to scroll just that, but somehow, it must be seeing the record as the focus, not the form.

I haven't got something I can test this on now, but it may just be a case of disabling the Record Selector in the form properties. Hopefully, that would leave the focus on the individual controls rather than the entire record.
