Mouse problem too

i cant get my mouse to scroll..
i am using a dell inspiron 7000 laptop which have touchpad.

must i disable the touchpad first?
i have installed the driver.
the mouse is genius netscroll plus.
it is connected on ps/2 slot.

thanks gazillion.
