For some reason when I move my mouse to the the right edge of the screen it disappears, however at the other edges it stops. Can someone help please.I am using a HP laptop with an external mouse but it does the same using the pad also.

Thanks in advance.

On my laptop the cursor seems to disappear when moved fully to the right but looking closely I see that the tip of the cursor arrow is resting on the last pixel position which makes any part of the arrow to the lower right disappear off screen.

I wonder if you find a cursor icon that slants the opposire direction, will it disappear if moved fully to the left?

I'd check the screen size and adjustment. It sounds like your screen is wider than the screen, do any of your windows look like they have the right side cut off?

Carlsberg don't run I.T. departments, but if they did they'd probably be more fun.

By default, every version of Windows I can recall allows you to "hide" the cursor by burying it on the right side or the bottom. Top/left side it stops at the screen border. As long as you can see the window "frame" when the window is maximized maximized this is normal.

Other than that, it could be a screen centering issue, or resolution as noted above.

defreib,

Did you find a solution, yet? Did you find your run-away cursor? [wink]
