When using a video clip this sometimes stops the mouse clicks from working. It is deffinately only the mouse click as if you press the "SPACE" button on KB this activates the Click property on the command button. Strange thing about this is should you run the task manger then minimize the task manager or close it (without doing anything within task manager) the mouse clicks start to work again.

Just found when pressing the mouse click the "screen click" property is activated instead of the command button. Any ideas?????

Hi there,
The scrren click method is initiated only when you click on a control which is disabled. Just check, if you have, any mouse move methods on form / command button.

Hi rajeevnandanmishra

I have no mousemove procedures on the screen or controls. The controls do not appear disabled as they work should you use keys. I have put a bit of code in the screen click procedure to find out what area of the screen is pressed when touched. Depending where it was pressed I then activate the appropriate command. The screen click is activated randomly this makes it harder to track. Do you have any other suggestions????

Hi!

Another clumsy behavior of ActiveX control in VFP...

Try to play around _VFP.AutoYield and SYS(2333) functions that supposed to set up things related with ActiveX controls. Try to add ActiveX in run-time, than remove it after it is used. Removing probably can restore mouse behavior.
