Need you help.
I'm trying to mount a "slave" HD (Windows XP, NTFS) onto Linux box. But without destroying the NTFS file system (need to save my data and scan for viruses).

I've tried "mount /dev/hdb" (also /dev/hdb1, /dev/hdc1 and so on) linux can not find the device.

Second HD (Windows XP) is set up as "Primary slave".
Any ideas? What am I doing wrong or missing?

Thanks

Ooops never mind. I figured it out. Just too worried about my data that I'm not thinking straight.
