I'm trying to build a beast of a workstation that can handle Video Editing and 3D Rendering, among other things.
The Quad Core Xeon processors are looking fairly nice, but I have a problem.
I want dual PCI-E 16X slots for possible SLI upgrade (we already have one good Quadro card) in the future, but I must have PCI-X for a special card we need in the machine.
I've been floating all over the net, and haven't found anthing yet that meets those requirements.
Does anyone know of anything?
PS: I'm making a quote for an AMD system, and 2 different Intel based systems (one mid range and one high end) to propose to powers that be, so if anyone has any suggestions for me, I'm happy to see what might be suggested.
