Hello all!
I have some small (I hope) problems with my motherboard. It's not a very new PC: a Pentium-2, 266 MHz.
The diagnostics program SiSoftware Sandra reported that the IOQD was set too low. I have managed to find out that IOQD stands for 'In Order Queue Depth', but that's all so far.
I couldn't find an option related to this in the BIOS, so I decided to update my BIOS.
With some tools I identified the motherboard as a PCPartner motherboard with a 440LX chipset and an AMI BIOS. I could find a slightly newer BIOS, and have updated it succesfully.
However, no Sandra gives another message:
'FSB exceeds chipset rated FSB'.
In the new BIOS, I can't find any options related to either the IOQD or the FSB.
Does anyone have experience with either the IOQD or the FSB?
Can you tell me what they are?
And do you think these messages from Sandra are serious?
Thank you all for your help and your time.
Herman
