dear frends

is there any restriction on more than one LongRaw fields in a table as i've to save four images in my table for each record but when i try to create the table it returns the message " a table may contain only one column of type Long"

plz help
thanks in advance

Tyb,

I agree with Sem/Dima...get rid of antiquated data types. If, however, something is forcing you to use LONG RAW, and you need more than one such column for a table, then create a <table_name>_IMAGES table that has foreign keys back to the row to which the image applies. You can then add an indicator that identifies which of the four images one is (if necessary). In fact, with this method, you can have as many (or few) images as you want for a particular row.

Even if you convert to BLOBs, I highly recommend isolating images off to their own table.
