Hi all,

some time ago, we have installed BAB 11.1 on a wk2 server machine. At the same time we also added a second SDLT Tape Drive to the second SCSI adapter and added this device to the same group.
Now we hade an error in the backup job-log that he was not able to write to the second tape. In the event log it says also "Computer Associates Licensing -31TL - License Failure" so i guess we have to buy the tape library optio licens. We have installd TLO but test-licens only, which i think has now expired.
As this option is verry expensive i want to make sure if there is no other solution to use two tape drives, e.g. make two jobs and assign the drives to two different groups...

has anyone an idea if we can avoid buying the TLO Licens?

Thanks
Dani

Multiple standalone drives do not require the tape library option - simply uninstall the tape library option using add/remove programs in Windows control panel.
