Sorry, I still have some questions on Mx records. Got my webhost people to point the mail domain to my exchange. I am nating inside so I've asked them to point to my external IP address and i've setup the router to forward port 25 to the exchange box. I am able to send email outside but I am not able to get emails. It does not find the mailbox address correctlly. Perhaps someone can give me one more push, I would greatly appreciated.

Thanks again

You should visit grc.com from your Exchange server and run shield's up test.
1. confirm the IP address shown is same as your MX ip address.
2. confirm port 25 shows as open.
You should confirm 1 and 2 before calling your ISP again.

Thanks much guys. Got everything working. I guess I had to waite a bit longer. It took about 30 minutes. Emails stated to come in properly.

I though I had to add something else to the port forwarding.

I used to find out that the ISP was pointing to their own mail server.

again thanks
