In W2K his more.com often will only scroll 1 line at a time after the first pause, as opposed to giving me another 24 lines as he's supposed to.

Anyone else have this, or can shed light? I haven't isolated the condition; it doesn't misbehave as such 100% of the time.

If you go to a command prompt and type 'more /?', you would find that it tells you the following:

When using More within win2k, hitting the enter (says 'ret' in the help file) will give you one additional line. Hitting the space bar will give you the next screen.

Unless you have a really odd problem, I think that this will help you.

He shoots - he scores! Whooda thunka popping up command help on something you've been using for about 16 years?! Not I ... but you did, solving this. Way to go!

I don't know if it was my B.O. or gas, but until you steeped up, I wasn't getting too much help here - ROFL!

Make that "stepped."

Funny - you have to more or less be able to use MORE to be able to use MORE /? - LMAO! (or should I say LAMO?!)

MORE /? | MORE is handy - LOL
