I didn't find anything after a search so...

I'm looking to see if there is a way to add-in more autoformat templates for the form wizard. The 10 available by default don't always cover what I'm looking for & would just be nice if I had say 100 instead.

The customizing features are pretty limited and I've tried desiging a few of my own but they are even worse than the original 10.

I have never seen any plugins for this type of thing.

But here is a start...
For Access 2000 and Access 97, the graphics are stored at
..\Microsoft Office\Office\Bitmaps\Styles
You will see things like...
ACBLENDS.gif
ACBLUPRT.gif
...
And of course, the world famous
GLOBE.wmf
Stone.bmp

You can add the graphic in the form property under the "picture" option on the format tab.

I usually setup one standard form for the database - colours, fonts, style. And then copy a text box from the standard to any new form, and use the format painter to apply the style to the new form. Takes less than 2 min per form depending on complexity. I always try to make the text easy to read, highlight the important areas with colour or a larger font. Although fancy graphics can add pizzaz, I tend to stay away from using graphics to speed up opening the form and performance.
