Hi All,

Just wondered if anyone knew how or what to buy to stop spam coming through to my email address, the main culprit changes the user and domain address all the time so I've tried various spam blockers but none seem to work as an example the same email has been sent to me from :-

Karen4356y34@microsoft.com
Mildred34597o4@yahoo.com
rlfJohn3463y34@earthlink.com
Roy8576u5@email.com

and plently more

they advertise some "copy cd to dvd", but as I don't have any DVD, don't really need this software or the emails.

LeBodge.

PS: Wonder if Microsoft know about the first one???? LeBodge.

MailWasher is a powerful email checker with effective spam
elimination . Discover the safe way to stop unwanted viruses and emails before they get to your computer .
Why not make them think you no longer exist by bouncing back their email so it looks like your address has been closed down .

Thanks for the reply I'll have a look at those, just 1 question, when you say bounce back their email - how do you do that exactly as it seems their identity keeps changing?

Don't bother to bounce, for the stated reason, amongst others.
You can get in trouble with your ISP, since most bounces use postmaster@yourisp.com. But if you check the spammers email, you will notice lots of them already have bounce.something.com in there themselves.
Result, postmaster@yourisp.com gets the bounce back and the can see it was bounced by you since the original addressee is in there (you that is). If the solution is here, let us know it was helpful so others can benefit from it as too

LeBodge, what mail client are you using now? OE's rules can be quite effective when implemented properly.
