Can you drop me a line with a download link to the PCAdmin suite and also for programming the AutoAttendant? Im in Vietnam and and the local guys here are total rubbish and you seem to know a bit about the LG Ericsson.

I normally avoid switches like the LG but i didnt want to plague this forum with lots of silly questions (like we get in the ip office forum) so really was hoping monty would get in touch because he doea ipo too.

Anyway my partners brother in law bought the lg and has no help from the local reseller. Scince i am in vietbam at the moment i would lend a hand.

Biggest question is can you get the the voicemail to configure the AA from the pcadmin sodtware.

Also do are you stuck with line keys (three alog lines) or can you use call keys instead like the ipo? All lines need to ring and queue on ring groups on sales the overflow to other staff....

If you hav ethe VMIB (voice mail board) then you can configure AA easily. PGM228. This is possible with PC admin.
If you want to program groups use PGM 190/191 and you will find may good facilities like in IPO.

good facilities like in the ipo hmmm...is a bit well poetic licence , loop keys are what you need HSM pgm 115 (type 4) for youre line butrtons make sure they are the first two buttons on slts, as for AA its in the CCR table pgm 228, table 1 referes to recording 001 on the main attendant , access this by trans/pgm 06 then 001 for announcement 1, you can record up to 70 announvemrnts , then in youre DDI table pgm231 , flex 1= name , 2 =day destination , flex= 3 night destination.

Point them at vmib01 (if thats the ann you recorded in trans/pgm 06 from attendant) not vmib # as that will drop the call, then as stated programm groups in pgm 109 attributes for those groups is in 191 overrflow dest etc , turn of Q count display in pgm 191 and also member forward enable as in lg if you have a phone forwareded it takes it out of group, anything else give me a shout.

Apologies group prgm 190 not 109, one daft feature is no group voice mail unless it is a ldk 20 o 3.9 , only option is to point youre calls at a phone that has an imm or busy no answer frword to voicemail , voicemail access is in pgm 113 flex 3, oh one more thing if you are using isdn let me know and i will send you some settings , (pgm 143 , pgm 200 pc application station & pgm 167) to mention a few send all options to att not tone pgm 167 ....if using disa make sure if option 9 in ccr table is not used send it to a destination usually a vmib drop, ana ring assignment is pgm 144 , if you dont do this if someone hits 9 they will get dial tone hack hack hack.... also pgm 160 is bad for hacking ....i could go on and on check youre mail.

as per your email,
if it does not have a lan connection you will need a rs232 9 pin female to female straight through lead with pins 2-3-5 connected
