Monitoring tool for WiFi, please help.

Hi everybody,

I am looking for some help.

Does anyone know some kind of small program I can use to check what kind of wireless networks are available/ in range. I know that I can do it on Windows, but I am looking for a software that will also show me what kind of wireless channel the particular network is using etc. , maybe apart from that signal strength in percentage..

I need to set up router in the city center and there is a lot of interference I think.

I would be grateful for any help, please provide the name of soft if possible.
