Monitoring serial interface

Greetings,

I need to know, how I can look for history in the router to know if a interface serial is bouncing or how I can monitoring the interface for 24 hours.

Check the router logs. I'd send them to an external loghost for later perusal or alerting.

Do a show interface serial# and look at the stats.....good idea to setup syslogging for monitoring the router.

Which syslog server I can use and which IOS command ?
