Hello folks, I was asked to move the location of the default website from C:\INETPUB to D:\INETPUB. I shut down the site copied the files to D:\INETPUB, modified the home directory path and restarted the site.
I decided to try my luck on all other components FTP,SMTP,and NNTP. FTP went fine, SMTP worked although it kept creating a mailroot folder in the original C:\INETPUB even though it was pointing to. I had to rename the INETPUB folder in order for this to stop.
My problem is NNTP. There is no way of modifying the default directory. Once it was stopped and the C:\INETPUB folder renamed, it would not start anymore
So.. after all that, can you please tell where the home directory for NNTP can be changed. It is not affecting me right now, but I would like to know. Also if someone can comment on the ramifications of the other changes I made, I would appreciate it.
