We're having problems with a certain SIP provider where calls going out through their facility keeps on dropping after about 41 seconds. We're using a CM 6.0 (S8300D/G450) connected through a TLS link with an SM 6.1 (DL360), which in turn has a SIP entity going to that SIP provider. In between the Avaya equipments and the SIP provider there is a Checkpoint firewall which 1-to-1 NATs the IP of the SM and G450 media gateway.
When they did a trace, the said provider keeps on telling us that the VIA header in our SIP calls should be modified in order to be routed properly as they're seeing private IPs in the SIP messages. I'm not sure how that should be done on the Avaya end, or should we be already looking at other things let's say on a firewall?
