Hi

I have added a field called "Satisifed" in both the problemm1 and probsummarym1 tables.

Now, when we revisit a record, the value stored in the field on the form is retained, but when I try and add the field in my "Modify Columns" grid, the values are returning as blank!

Have I missed something out, or do I still have some work to do to make the value appear in the qbe grid, so that I may export the results to Excel!

Regards

The QBE list is looking at probsummary, but the form is looking at problem.

If you want a value to appear in both problem and probsummary, you have to also add it to the link record build.problem.summary

There should only be one line in that record, select it and then add your new field. Left side is probsummary, right side is problem.

This link gets used whenever a problem record is saved to update the corresponding probsummary record.
