Moderately large file chokes DW 8 and CS3

I have a file that is about 2000 lines. It's just an asp function include. It opens fine in DW8 and CS3; however, as soon as I touch the code with the cursor, DW hangs and I have to force quit. I've recreated the file in another text editor in case the file was somehow corrupted and tried it on several machines. I can open it and work with it fine in Notepad, Textpad, BBEdit, ect. DW is the only app that chokes. This is in DW on PC.

I split the file into two 1000 line files and it's fine, but c'mon...a 2000 line text file crashing DW? That's ridiculous.

Anyone else have this problem?
