I need a work around until the modem relay feature comes out. I need a modem on one G700 to talk to another on a second G700. I was going to make a tie trunk between the two using MM711 ports. The problem is I can't find a configuration for CO tie trunks that work on the MM711. Any ever done this?

I don't have the option to get off of ACM 2.0.1. My rollout started with hardware that can't support ACM 2.1 - e.g. older S8300 LSP's. Upgrades aren't in this year's budget. We've got a ton of IP endpoints now but the analog support on the G700s have really cost us a lot of time and left us wanting better performance. The limited choices on trunk types is just one of many analog port issues we've had to work around. Any suggestions?

stlouis1,

afaik there is no support for tie trunks on the mm711, but you can use a workaround: on the first g700, create an extension, and on the second g700, a trunk. don't forget to enable adjunct supervision in the extension form.
