Do you have call-waiting?
Special settings let you get around it...Control Panel\Phone and Modem Options\Dialing Rules \edit and check to disable call-waiting.
I don't know which of the choices you use for dial...the helpfiles will probably bail you out if someone doesn't come along who uses this and tell us.
