Kind of a general question, has anyone experienced this? (I'd find another forum, but all the smart guys hang out here in the wireless forum)

Connected to Rogers Hi-Speed cable (cable modem) to D-Link 614+ wireless AP/router.

Router is connected hard-line to one desktop and wirelessly to 2 laptops.

Modem cuts out intermittently, needing a hard-reset. I've noticed that the cable modem tends to get fairly warm, though I've done my best to do everything short of putting it on ice or have a fan blowing air over it 24/7.

The D-Link has worked pretty well flawlessly since day 1, and Rogers tech support has been basically useless - always saying to call back again when the service is down.

(if I know that a hard reset will fix it temporarily, why would I wait on hold for 20 mintues with no internet, waiting for you to tell me what you think is wrong....)

Ideas?
