well i know the problem I installed the wrong drver and I have found the correct one but the problem is installing it. My modem is on port 3 and now the generic software is on the modem in port 3. I unistall the generic software and install the conexant software but I can't put it on port 3 only ports 1 and 2. If I restart it says it's found a generic modem and if I cancell the installation it installs anyway so what I want to know now how I can get rid of the generic software because when I delete it it comes back and how I can put my conexant drivers on port 3 where my conexant modem is.
