Presently trying to use two modems simultaneously to increase bandwidth. Guidance sought

Hi

Firstly, your ISP must support multiple simultaneous calls using the BAP and BACP (Bandwidth Allocation Protocol, Bandwidth Allocation Control Protocol). Nothing you can do will have any effect unless they have the systems in place to cope with this.

Secondly in the properties of each dial up connection, go to the networking tab, click the Settings button and ensure that there are ticks in the "Enable LCP Extensions" and "Negotiate Multi link for single link extensions" boxes.
-this will enable the connection to add or drop extra lines as needed.
If you have two physical modems in your PC attached to two separate phone lines, this should be all you need to do.
