Modem access

I'd like to know how to do modem access in WinAPI, using WinAPI routines. I do NOT have access to a high-level language which might have some sort of shortcut to do this thing, I need to use WinAPI routines. Need to send text data over a modem line, already know Hayes modem command set, I just need to know how to do modem access in Win32. Have had experience in modem access with DOS.
