I have it installed in our lab to test. It seems to work well but I cannot put a very big load on the system so I don't know how it will run under load. I don't beleive it would have any issue though.
What sort of details do you want? Here is a quick synopsis:
Inbound call to Desk phone and shared line CTIPort
The desk phone starts ringing and the mobility application is offered, the call ringing on the shared line CTI port
The mobility application places a call to the cell number on the outbound CTI port.
If the cell phone answers, the Mobile Connect application does media manipulation to answer the call by swapping the media information of the outbound call and inbound call.
The answer stops the ringing on the IP Phone. Call appears in desk phone as “In use Remote”
The answer anchors the call in the enterprise. The gateway hairpins media.
At that point you can answer either your Desk phone or the alternate phone.
You can transfer between the phones as well.
