Looking for a product for our mobile sales force. Has anyone used the mobile x? any thoughts? likes/dislikes? other ideas?

currently we're at R5.5 with SIP trunking as primary and PRI as backups. 99% of phones are IP.

Thanks

have not used mobile but.. if your team uses vpn, adding soft sets would be a clean intergration..

we have done that as well as using cfxa to send calls or msg notification to cell phones..

We use MobileX. Works great, although I'd recommend using your PRI trunks rather than SIP due to DTMF detection if you want to use in-call features. It's simple and easy to hand off between your cell and desk set.

Only thing I don't like is that if you're on your PDN, calls that short-key hunt up don't go to the MobileX cell phone. There's a hint to that in the NTP where it discusses SCR vs MCR programming in the MobileX config.
