With the bad press about Blackberry, we are looking at using Smart Phones/PDA's for mobile messaging. I was wondering if Microsoft had anything that was Push Technology that worked with Exchange 2003. I have heard of OMA and MMIS but have not heard of anyone using them.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

In my last job we had about 3 executives that had smartphones (verizon) with OMA and everyone else had blackberries. The whole smartphone/OMA intergration with microsoft is great but the price is not as nice. Also the support and accessiblity of phones that support OMA are not that large. Also the Blackberry is not going anywhere so the bad press should be just side notes on your decision. In conclusion if you guys have an open budget then go with the smartphones, but remember support may be more difficult because BB still dominates the market.

Blackberry's aren't going anywhere. RIM has already announced that they have a work-around that will work fine.

OMA is a pull client. You use a small screen wireless device to login and pull the information.
