mnmsrvc.exe - Illegal Opp

Howdy,

I have a far too frequent problem with mnmsrvc.exe causing an illegal operation on startup. This does not affect how the computer runs but is annoying for the users to have to close the message. I'm fairly confident that this is to do with Remote Desktop Sharing in Netmeeting but I use this a lot and would really like to fix the issue rather than disabling desktop sharing. Also, it would be a rather large job to change to other software so this is not preferable.
These are all Win98 machines (some 98 gold, some 98SE)
Does anyone know how I can fix this?

What is the exact text of the error message, incl. 'Details'?

I have a similar problem in W2K, the error is 'mnmsrvc.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows'. This occurs when RDS starts automatically or I select Activate Remote Desktop Sharing. I have a DrWatson log if anyone needs to see it. The main part reports:-
Application exception occurred:
App: mnmsrvc.exe (pid=560)
When: 30/03/2004 @ 10:27:47.361
Exception number: c0000005 (access violation)

This occurs running with full admin permissions!

Any ideas?

I have had a similar problem running in W2K, exactly like M4LCOLM. I tried to reinstall NetMeeting as ski posted but with no luck. Did anyone find the solution to this?
