Hi all!
MY customer has erroneously started the mmdf service with an erroneous configuration.
Mmdf make very slow the machine and I would like to stop the service.
How can I stop it / disable ?
Many thanks.

To stop the Delivery service (which is likely causing the slowdown), run this command as root:

# /usr/mmdf/bin/daemon stop

If you want to prevent MMDF from ever starting, there is probably a script in /etc/rc2.d which can be renamed. As an example:
# cd /etc/rc2.d
# mv P86mmdf oP86mmdf

Changing the first letter of that script will basically "hide" it from the start-up processes. Yet, it can be re-enabled if desired in the future.
