I'm moving to a new server, I'm handling front end and back end software... The other guy is handing configuration..

Each at our strong points, supposedly... He's been wrong before.

So my boss asked me to find out if what he said is true...

With the DNS tool for Microsoft Management Console.. He says that all she has to do is enter domains for domains having mail hosted with us... Not for every domain... I don't know if that's true or not but I told her I'd find out and try to get the answer by 12.31.

Thanks much for any info on this..

He should enter in each domain that is registered to those DNS servers. Example:

domain1.com registered to dns1.mydomain.com
domain2.com registered to dns1.yourdomain.com

you would only put info in for domain2.com, as your DNS server knows how to look upstream for other domains.
