I have been getting errors in the Event Application viewer on the MAS, and no messaging waiting..

Event Error 132: Source: gv_mwiserver Catagory: Verbose
A voice server has reported that a set operation on station 612 has failed with a non-transient error 0x8101000c. The operation will not be retried.

Event Error 1434: Source: gv_server Catagory: MWI Internal
MWI operation: Set failed on serial port 6 for extension 612 due to Station is invalid.

The following is from the Operational History Viewer.
OBJECT_____ Message Application Server

-- MWI Request to ‘Set’ the Lamp has been called for ext:612 on port 6
-- MWI Notification being sent to high level componet for ext 612 error Set. Request Station is invalid from port 6
-- ERROR NT significant event with ID ‘3221226906’ was Reported with Strings ‘Set\n6\n612\nStation is invalid\n’

These were the errors I have recovered. I got the same errors for all the test mailboxes/Extensions.
Yes, the stations are in the G3CSI R11.01.2
Intergration is IP, using the current Config Note.

Any clue as to direction for info/HELP. just where to find
a description of the error messages from the Event Viewer &
Operational History viewer would be a start..
Stare & compare would be great....

Good luck in finding any information about the Event Viewer Application log errors. They are not documented in the Documentation CD from Avaya from what I can tell.

I have seen these errors in my system when I setup "guest" mailboxes that only have a mailbox with no extension and have forgotten to make sure that the Message Waiting indication is set to "N" in the MSS.

Maybe something to check is to make sure that the station in question has LWC Activation set to "Y" and that the MWI Served User Type is "qsig-mwi".

Other than that the other resource is to call Avaya TSO.

Ooops, the LWC Activation shouldn't matter but the "qsig-mwi" should.
