We are about to migrate from IBM Shark storage to EMC. The Sharks are using VPATHS, the EMC is not. We do not use HACMP. In the past, we have moved LV's around by extending the VG, moving the LV, then reducing the VG. Does anyone know if there are issues in adding (with extendvg) hdisk's to a VP'd VG, moving the LV's, then removing the vpaths? Any advice would be helpful, as we need to move a LOT of data in a short time.
