All of the computers in the office are working on Office 2000, execpt 1 it has office 2003, but does not include Access with it. Can i load Access 2000 to that computer from our other office 2000 cd, oh by the way it is the only one that has anymore licenses on it anyway.

IF you have enough licenses to install it then yes you can install Access 2000 on that machine.
If you don't then it may be cheaper to upgrade your Office 2003 from whatever version you have to the professional version.

Thanks, as with all things IT management will always take the "cheaper" route and since we have the linceses, I they already told me no way on upgrade.

I may not have sold it well though, what's the ground breaking thing i can use to convince them to upgrade all to 03.

that MS will require this upgrade prior to future upgrades costing extra $ in the long run.

as far as Access goes, NON OF THE PREVIOUS VERSION PLAYS WELL WITH EACH OTHER! yes the basics work but any program developed in one version rarely works with other versions!

uh oh, you struck a nerve with management

Not everyone is programming, but i don't have the developers version to make runtime versions of the program. We are using access as a short term fix to use the rapid deployment, the DB will be on SQL or MSDE with a VB front end within the next quarter. We are thinking of using .net so it can migrate to the WEB eaiser.
