MiVoice Business & IP Polycom 5000

I installed a Polycom IP 5000, configured as a Generic SIP device. The problem is that when I make the conference, it does not allow you to connect to a third user. For example, when on a call, I press the conference key softkey on the polycom, enter the extension and hit the Send softkey. The called extension rings then someone answers the call. I then try joining all parties into a conference call by pressing the conference softkey on the polycom display but I get a dial tone.

According to the Polycom user guide, there should be a Join softkey on the display when attempting to join a conference. No such key is appearing on the Polycom display. Is there someone that has experience setting up this model of Polycom with the MiVoice Business who can assist me?

I think you need to add a multicall on key 2 of the set

You need a multicall for every line that you require to conference IIRC.

First, thank you for taking the time to reply to my thread. I have a multicall programmed for every key. I managed to get it working. However, there appears to be a limitation with the number of parties on a conference call in the device. Using its conference features, I'm only able to establish a 3 party conference on one of the devices lines. I'm unsure if the device has bridging capabilities yet. I'm researching that but have yet to find an answer. I did discover that the MiVBs Conference Call FAC would allow me to conference more than 3 parties on a call on 1 line...I think. I was happy when I discovered this. I realized I needed to change the extension number of the Polycom to a 5 digit extension. After changing it, the FAC stopped working so I'm figuring out why the FAC stopped.
