Mitel MCD and Skype Connect SIP Trunks

Howdy guys
I am trying to get an MCD (5.0 SP1 PR2 (11.0.2.66)) to utilise Skype Connect trunks
I couldn't find any recent interop guides for it other than this one: 10-4940-00120 (ftp://latex.lanit.ru/Technical/Mitel/HOWTO/SKYPE%20SIP%20Trunking.pdf)

It seems out of date because Skype Connect requires E.164 and the interop guide there makes no mention of that.

That's where my problem lies, the trunk is up as long as I don't enable Sending of the + for E.164 (which I need to do or I just get 404 when I try and make a call)
When I enable E.164, the REGISTER fails with 403 forbidden

Does anyone have any experience in setting up Skype Connect with Mitel PBXs?

Hi Dave,

I have a couple of customers with Skype Trunks however they don't use the E164 + in their sip peer profile.

Are you using the MBG as Sip Proxy?
