Upgraded MCD 3300 to 5.0 SP1 PR1...now only have one-way audio on SIP trunks at remote IP sets...was working fine before upgrade at 4.1 SP2...checked with network IT...and opened ticket with Mitel...using MultiTech MVP 210 SIP gateways....will check a few things I found on tek-tips....wierd thing, it seems to be fine at one site off of Windstream network, but am having issues at two sites off of Level 3/ AT&T network...I have stared and compared in the 3300 at my Network Elements, SIP Peers, etc and also in the SIP gateway in all of the tabs and did not find any noticeable differences...leaning towards the network/ firewall/ port issues again, but then I pull my hair out because it seemed to "break" after the Mitel SW upgrade.

Help a balding tech out...

There are times where it might appear that an upgrade causes some issues where the real cause is a side-effect of a reset/restart of the system. In other words, the issue may have already been there, it just needed a system reset to expose it, SIP trunks re-registering etc.

Not convenient, but wireshark/tcpdump captures at the access points is the best way to find out what's going wrong in my opinion.
