I am interfacing a XIOX suma pro and an opera PMS to the mitel is there anything on the mitel side I need to know other than port config?

- there are a number of things that have to be exchanged between you and the pms vendor.
- is the pms vendor using maid codes?
- are you tying the pms into vmail and if you are what protocol are you using or is the pms vendor requesting i.e. Hyatt Encore or His as they have different characteristics?
- speed for Logistics to interface to pms?

yes the suma pro is CAS made XIOX so far we have got the vmail and CAS working there is no data set on site to interface the PBX so we are ordering one and do you know what the maid codes are? software Gen 1004 E29.2
I guess we got a little lucky the Innline had a default setting for the PMS (FIDEDLO) we selected it and made our DB-25 to RJ-45 adaptors per the literature and it came right up
But knowing the dial codes would be very helpful like the maid codes and what does #47 plus ext # do?

STS3 not clean
STS4 out of service
STS5 to be inspected
Fidedlo are usually quite good, I have dealt with them several times. The pms vendor if using maid codes will want to know the above, they are cast in stone by Logistics.
What the maid dials is from form 2 feature 35 and the code:
1 Maid is in room
2 No maid in room
3 Room clean, maid not in room
4 Room to be inspected, maid not in room Maid has finished cleaning the room.
The code does not go to the pbx it goes directly to the pms system.
Remember to set the 1103 data set for the pms to match your pms vendor settings or vice versa.
