I have to change the network access setting in the Administrative tools area. When I opened up the security options menu the line for "sharing and security model for local accounts" was missing along with a whole lot of others. This was on 2 machines. the other machines were ok. I cannot find any info on this, or anything mentioned anywhere that would cause this.
Any Ideas?

You may need to re-register the mmc DLL that is associated with the Group Policy area where you are missing configuration items. Have a look at these links below to help you. I believe the DLL associated with the "Network Access:Sharing and security model for local accounts" would be wsecedit.dll as this is the DLL associated with the Security policies.
