Mirror 2000 exchange server

I currently have a 2000 exchange server, running on 2000 server. However I ordered a much more powerful server and i wish to deploy it, here is the issue though, I want the new server to have the exact same name as the old server, but I want to bring it up on the network and have it replicate all the data from the old server, with the servers having the same names i think I will have some conflict issues.. any ideas on how I could go about this ?
