Hello All.

Can Miran be used as an announcement and then automatically ring all acd agents?

Currently I have about 21 agents. I recently (through all of your help) setup a supervisor's phone w/ all agent's ID programmed in and an Observe key to listen. THIS WORKS GREAT, but I'm now at the next hurdle.

We must notify our customers that their call might be monitored. As I stated in my previous requests, we don't have Symposium and I'm doing what I can w/ the system that I have.

I just found out that a Miran card was installed, but hasn't been used for at least a year. Do you know if I can program the Miran card w/ an announcement that states, "For Training Purposes, this call may be monitored" and then have the callers number ring on the agents phone....

Your MIRAN can be used as a RAN (that's what it is) so you could add 'comfort' announcements to it that include a notice about call monitoring, and then in your ACDN in LD23, put those RAN messages in FRRT and SRRT so that they are played. However, if an agent is immediately available, the caller will not hear FRRT or SRRT. -Matt

if you answer froa yes in the acd group. the ran will play and then forward to the group.. first ran on arrivel is there for those legal recordings that must be made to comply with the law...1st time i caught the kc kid looking the wronge way..
