MIPCD caller id

a user has asked that when he receives call from mipcd to cell phone that his regular desk number (DID0 show up as the caller id?

Just say no.

The MIPCD is the device placing the call to the cell phone, so the CLID of the DN on the Call Director port will be displayed at the far end.

thats what i thought. so basically i would need to setup a clid that allows this users specific DID number to be shown when he received a call and i would have to put it on all the call director ports so it would happen all the time.

of course then everyone who gets a call from MIPCD would receive this persons DID.

And you never know what port the call will be made on so you would have to do them all.

Set up one specifically for the call director and let them all know what it is just like voicemail.
